So you literally are what you eat. And even though we are all created equal, we aren’t all the same. On the contrary, no two people are exactly the same. And that means that we all need a (slightly) different diet in order to be healthy and able to thrive.
Ayurveda is very clear about this: we all have our own unique constitution. And based on that, it is possible to figure out what foods are good and bad for us. I am here to help you with that.
My approach to nutritional coaching
My tools are nutrition and personal coaching.
I qualified as an Ayurvedic Nutritional Coach in 2010 and love helping people change their diet and improving their health ever since. My own experience with the power of correct diet has been my first inspiration, but I continue to rejoice with every person I help to sort out their diet.
Contrary to what I did myself (=radically changing my diet from one day to the next), I recognise that for most people, this won’t work. Going about it in this way is setting yourself up for failure. So in most cases, I coach people on a journey of small, incremental steps.
And that works every time. It’s setting yourself up to succeed.
I listen very careful to what you have to say and ask lots of questions. The more information you give me, the better I will be able to help you. I will take stock of all the (physical) problems and (mental) obstacles you are experiencing. But I am not a doctor and I will not “treat” any of those problems and obstacles as such.
Instead, I will simply guide you on your unique path to healthy eating habits. Together, we will sort out what steps are appropriate for you at any given moment in time. And you will find that some of your problems will disappear just like that. As did my incurable disease for me.
You will make tiny little changes. Every week we will talk and I will make suggestions for changes. You will only commit to the ones that resonate with you. Most of the time, you should feel confident about it (I can do that!). Some things might be a little harder, but once you understand the importance of it and the benefits it will bring, you will be so motivated that you will succeed.

Because of the impact stress has on us, I try not to add to your stress. On the contrary, I try to help you relax, and settle into a new routine that suits you. So that you will be able to let go of some of the day-to-day stress and be more joyful.
Body, mind and spirit are intricately connected. Therefore, if you manage to change your feelings towards more happiness, you will feel better (=healthier). Everything becomes easier that way.
All in all, I will take you on an exiting and inspiring journey of learning and discovery.
Cost and commitment
Consultations are done by video call, using Zoom. After each consultation, I will send you an email with a summary of what was discussed. I might also consult with other Ayurvedic specialists in my network if you have any special issues that I myself am not familiar with or sure of.
The first consultation will take between 1 and 2 hours; follow up consultations usually between 30 and 45 minutes.
Before the first consultation, I ask that you keep a diary of 7 consecutive days, in which you note:
- when you eat/drink (time of day);
- what you eat/drink;
- how much you eat/drink;
- how you feel afterwards, both physically and mentally.
Please email this diary to me at least 24 hours before our first meeting.
I totally understand it if you want to get to know me before committing to a coaching journey. After all, it’s pretty personal so we both have to feel a connection for it to work optimally. Therefore, you can book a free 20 minute Zoom call here just for this purpose.
My fees are:
- € 250 per month for weekly consultations,
- or € 600 per 3 months of weekly consultations.
- € 125 per month for consultations every fortnight,
- or € 300 per 3 months of consultations every fortnight.
I recommend starting with weekly consultations. After some time, you may want to fall back to a less intense schedule of once every fortnight.
All fees are to be paid in advance. The month starts on the day of the first consultation.
